    I have the same problem. Yahoo new mail just opened automatically today. I didn't ask for it and now can't compose, can't reply and can't switch back to Yahoo Classic. When I try to do any of these things I get a "Loading..." message with a little whirlygig, and nothing happens. I wrote to technical support and got a response saying they were backed up. I called customer service and was told to write customer support. This sucks. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks.

    I cannot reply to or forward emails.  I get loading, loading.......spinning arrows symbol. I use a mac.  Whatsup?

    I can reply so far but can not compose new messages today. I have tried both Explorer and Firefox and have the same problems on both.

    I cannot seem to compose, or edit drafts, for some reason. It just happened recently. And also, I can't seem to empty the trash or spam, I have to go into the folder, and delete them myself. I have a mack book with a new hard drive, and am using safari.

    In the yahoo mail, there are squares that you check off to delete. There is no forward reply listed on my email. It all disappeared.

alot of the times, just going into internet options and setting everything to default, and clearing the cookies and files works about 50% of the time.

This is possibly a yahoo issue. If you use yahoo thru ATT, you can call ATT for support and they will escalate any valid issues to yahoo for you.

Their phone number is 1-877-722-3755

ask for tech support at the prompt

they can remote on your computer to see if it is a java issue or whatever

if they can replicate it on their computer also, they will create a yahoo trouble ticket and give you thier member service number. Yahoo resolves 85% of these within 48 hrs.

If they cant replicate it, then they will consider it a pc issue and refer you to connect tech or to best buy's geek squad.

Personally, I would also try sending emails in safemode, If you can do it in safemode, and not in reg mode, it is definately PC related.

To get to safemode, turn your computer off and when you turn it back on, tap the F8 button until you get an advanced screen. Pick safemode with networking with the arrow keys. Log in, click yes when it tells you you're running in safemode, and then when your on your desktop, which will look alot differnt, black background with big icons, click on internet explorer and go to mail.yahoo.com and see if it works now, if it does, like i said, its pc related. If it still cant, call ATT's support if you have thier DSL or U-Verse

I can receive mail and view all folders. I cannot compose a new message, or reply, forward mail etc. Also, i cannot search mail because the search box is garbled. I can do all these things in Yahoo Classic Mail but not in the new mail (problem started about 10 days ago) I like the New Yahoo better, have been using it for months and would like to continue it...please help!

I am receiving my mails. Every thing is OK.
But when I compose and send the mail, the mail is not going, but a message is being received stating sorry there is a problem, the messages are goofed by the server, please retry. This is from last 7 days. Please advise me

Are you accessing Facebook via desktop/laptop, or a mobile/touch device?

Desktop: right-click on the image, then Save to your desktop out default location. Compose the new email or reply to the original. Click the Add Attachment (paperclip?) And select your recently saved image.

Mobile: Long-press on the image in Facebook/Facebook App, then Save Image.
Compose/reply using your email App, then add Attachment, locating the image in your Gallery>Downloads folder.

Since the ugrade of new yahoo, it is a disaster I don't have access to my mails....I get to the inbox and only the compose mail is there (no reply, to forward button nothing...) then loading mails...

click MAIL CLASSIC beside sign out and my account
or
on the top right side of mail page
click options
then click switch to yahoo classic

Unable to compose, reply, or forward in Yahoo Mail for the last 2-3 days

The inability to send, reply, or forward emails could be from a program that was installed on your computer that is now preventing the Yahoo! Mail Rich Text toolbar from launching properly. Try switching from "Rich Text" compose mode to "Plain Text" as a work around:
  1. Sign in to your Yahoo! Mail account.
  2. Click the New button to start a new email.
  3. To the far right of the "Subject" line click the "Plain Text link.
  4. Compose and send your email.
To make "Plain Text" your default when replying or forwarding, do this:
  1. Sign in to your Yahoo! Mail account.
  2. Click "Options," then select "More Options" from the pull down arrow in the upper right corner of your Mail page.
  3. Select "General" from the list of options on the left side of the page.
  4. Check the box next to; When replying & forwarding Mark original message with > (plain text only).
  5. Click the "Save Changes" button in the upper left corner.

No "Compose" button in my Yahoo account

hi,
Well there is no compose button in yahoo. Now there is a button labelled as "New".
You need to click on this to compose an email.
This button is just beside the Check Mail button.

my best suggestion is for you to forward all your mail from this account to another account (just create another yahoo account) and make sure spam filters are on the new account while you get yahoo to fix the problem. they will fix it since you have paid a subscription to it. the minimum they should do is forward ur mail for you.

ps don't forget to change the reply-to field to your email address.
