Burned Wires hi my name is Eva, i have an electric Heartland stove. It broke last Thursday.
Now i'm looking for somebody who can fix it.
One guy looked at it, could not fix it, because he needed some special wires!
The wires in the back burned!
Who can help me?

Remove the grate and burner cap from the problematic burner. Remove the sealed burner base and look for loose connections or disconnected wires. Secure any loose connections and reconnect any disconnected wires, reinstall the burner base, cap and grate. Restore power to the stove and test the connection.
Most likely the heating element is burned out. This is an element similar to the one in an electric stove oven. Often, this part is easy to access by removing a panel on the back of the dryer (You did unplug it first, right?).
Hi unplug the stove and remove the two screws that hold the top down, holding the burners, check for burned wires going to and from all burners I think you may have wires that are shorted out , or the element itself is burn out , you can check this with a ome meter, by putting each wire on the ends of the element , I hope you know how to use a meter if not write back and I will walk you though it , Just look around very carful
It is if its installed like the other one.Generally they are just shaped differently. If the wires are connected safely you should be ok. Please rate This !!!
