The water never seems to turn on. This is on a Keeprite high effeciency furnace. I use this humidifier as a direct replacment for the old drum style, put it in the same position. Is the furnace possibly not generating the heat to turn the unit on? I use the supplied transformer, green light is on when furnace is off but humidistat demand is there. When furnace turns on green light goes off, furnace turns off before water starts flowing. Lots of Supply water.

- I figured it out, the internal humidistat in the humidifier was keeping the water valve closed. I bypassed it and wire directly to the valve. No the correct way but works like a charm.Same Problem

- Redplaced two Wait 5000 Humidifier so far. Water never turns on" or now and then-when the furnace run. Uses the wife blow drie to represent the furnace heat and still wont run. Tired to hear the wife complain about this humidifier any suggestions, and notify you when a new solution is offered- cowand chick
