Question about GE WPGT9350C Top Load Washer
Recently my washer lost all power after having a factory repair service replace my main system board and the filter ASM part # WH12X10248. I now get an erro unrelated to the previous power loss -- the startup diagnostic reports -- the following error -- the motor is not rotating properly. check and replace if neccessary. before pursuing this as a error independent of the previously mentioned power issue -- can this be main board related, or would this just be a coincidence? Also does the above error usually mean the motor has burned out? Thanks in advance, Steve
Can be still the board that has been replaced has some boards can have faults from new but what can be wrong is that most motors have carbon brushes which go into the motor at either side of the motor with 1wire going onto them if these are low then the motor doesnt have enough contact with them so it wont spin properly pull these out and check first but be warned if the washer is under warranty you can void the warranty by letting anyone touch it m8 let me know how you get on and if no help then ill think what else it could be m8
