You should open the tv and check the power supply module, this part has the ac cord connected to it. If the picture clears after a bit, you will probably find some of the electrolytic capacitors on the module have swollen tops, these are not running within 10% of tolerance and should be changed.
You will require some soldering skills to change these parts and they must be installed in the correct polarity. Pay attention to the +- symbols on the pc board whenb replaceing caps.
Usually that problem is cause of the failing capacitors on the power supply section. You have to do is open the back cover of your TV and look for the actual image of the capacitor with in the power supply section if it is leak/bulged on the top. Please replaced it with the same type, ratings and value.
Hello mucci2k, You have one of two problem. (1) You have a loose connection on your LDS cable going from your signal board to your T-Con board. The T-Con board s the board that is mounted directly to the panel. Its sits near the top of the panel in the middle.
(2) You have a bad T-con board. This board cannot be repaired. It must be replaced. I can tell you where you can find it
Well, fortunately the television that you purchased has an auto-convergence feature. What is happenning is that your color lamps are misaligned, did it get moved at all recently?
Anyway, in your menu you should see a "Convergence" menu, and inside that menu, a section called "Perfect Focus". Run Perfect Focus in this sequence: Green --> Red --> Blue
After that your picture should look great, if not try tinkering with the manual adjustments on the "Convergence" menu. Here are some URLs that you might find helpful: (just copy+paste into your browser)
