Question about Apple iPod nano

1 Answer

I checked this wonderful site a day or so ago and found a suggestion to reboot. It worked, but after only a 1-time use, it has died again and this time won't reboot by holding down the center of the wheel and the menu button at the same time. Is my Nano dead? It's only 2+ years old.

It won't reboot by pressing the toggle in the center and the menu part of the control wheel.

    Thank you mneilsen2084,

I did try to power up while I had the battery charger plugged into the socket and it did not work. So I went online and found a battery replacement service for $42.50 (I think), where I ship it to them and they replace it since this particular type needs to be soldered in place. For the future benefit of others it was iPodbatterydepot.com.

    Aloha!

Have you attempted to reset it while it is connected to either your computer or power source? It sounds like your hard drive is corrupt. However' if it powers on after a reset with a power source connected you'll simply need to buy a new battery. usually that will run about 60-80 dollars. for that you'd have to call apple support U.S. iPod and Mac technical support: 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273)

2010 Tucson Hyundai battery drain somewhere. Changed the battery and alternator and still after sitting for a couple of days it goes dead. Has been in many times for same issue and Hyundai can not seem...

Hi,

we have the same problem. Replaced the battery a month ago and it died yesterday again. The car is at the dealer now. They are trying to blame us for the problem. I have a feeling they know exactly whats wrong, but they are not willing to tell us, since its still under warrenty for 1 month.
Suggestions are;

- the radio might drain your battery, even when its off.
- do you have a homelink? If so, it might be wired the wrong way.

so far thats all i found out by surfing the web.

Why does my ECM-I fuse keeps blowing?

Did you check the crank sensor wire, it may be hitting the hot exhaust. does the wire going to fuel pump have a problem and is shorting out. ECM 1 ..... then there are 5 components that this fuse feeds
1-crank sensor
2- all injectors
3- ECM
4- electronic ignition control module
5- ignition coil - check for a bad wire in these areas. Hope this helps.

Neato seems to have died but the green light is on

Mine was doing same thing. was working flipped upside down to replace the rubber blades then nothing.Display dark only it has green led around orange button. Unplugging batteries didn't help.pressing buttons nothing. holding buttons down nothing. Found this on another site. Connect the vac to your computer and place it on charger at same time. Press and hold the orange button for about 10 sec. or so. it should turn of the LED then let up and repress button. vac should then reboot. Unplug computer. Wouldn't hurt at this time to tell it you put in "New Batteries" but first remove any scheduled cleaning days to clear its memory. After doing the New battery, reset the schedule and let it charge. After that it maybe a good time to check your program version and update it from the Neato web site to the newest update. The newest update does wonders for the battery run time issues.

I,have a.2002 saturn sl 1 series the car will run ok until i am stopped at light and then it dies sometimes it takes about 7 to 10 min but it will start again i replaced fuel pump and filter ,i have also...

My friend had the same symptoms on his Saturn that you're describing. It ended up to be the timing belt was worn and timing had slipped. Check your owners manual and you should find when you're timing belt should be changed. I'm willing to bet money that it's should of been done a while ago.

I posted same problem as this couple days ago. Took mower to shop. The governor spring (located just under the air filter) had come off. So glad it was something so minor!

2003 Lincoln LS

My 2001 Lincoln LS has done this 3 or 4 times in the last 8 years. I disconnected the battery (for a minute), pulled the fuse, held the 'load' 'eject' button simultaneously for about 1 minute, banged on the dash, slid a credit card along the opening...prayed : ) For 2 days it wouldn't work. Then today I pressed the CD button and it worked. I immediately removed the one 'burned' CD that I had in slot 5, The only think I can think might have affected it was-
1. Put in a new CD that one of our local gospel groups made.
2. Weather had been quite warm, then 2 days ago, it got freezing cold outside again????
I don't know? Probably just an idiopathic occurrence.
It is the Alpine head, LS sports package.
