Question about Dell (2333R) Motherboard
It actually is a Dell 2330dn printer, What does that mean? please ignore the product name had to pick at the bottom, thank you M
I agree... More specifically, it usually refers to the Photoconductor or Imaging Drum Life... on a 2330dn, this is 30,000 pages. This is not included with the Toner Cartridge, but the Toner Cart actually docks with the Drum unit. I've scrounged all over the web and find no instructions for actually resetting the count, but the printed instructions are in the kit. They aren't real expensive, so I'd just order one up from Dell.. I think they're about $40. Very easy to change out. If you can change the toner cart, you can change the Drum.

The PC Kit is reaching full capacity. If you remove the toner cart and look at the blue image drum, you can empty the PC Kit by removing the 2 screws to either side of the drum and removing the silver bar with the pressure roller. Take care not to scratch the drum else you will get black marks on your prints. (This will get messy have latex gloves available or you'll get toner all over your hands.) Attempt this only if the prints are still clean and you need to get it up and running quickly. It takes me only 3 min to clean unit out. If you have black streaks running down any part of the page, only option is to replace the PK496 drum kit. Once the cart is either emptied or replaced you will need to reset the PC kit count otherwise the message will continue to appear regardless of the fact you replaced it with a new one. To reset the PC kit count. Turn the printer off (power switch on the back) turn the printer on and when Diagnosing show press the Check and Right arrow. Continue to hold until with reset message appears on LCD panel. At this point press the Check. Wait the unit will pause for a few seconds then press the Left arrow to exit the menu and press the Check one last time. The unit will reboot and you should be ready to go again.
