Question about Samsung YP-K3 MP3 Player
PC recognizes it normally, Device Manager says it's working properly and enabled. There appear to be no conflicts.
The trouble is, neither My Computer nor Explorer lists it as they always used to and neither Samsung's Media Studio 5, Windows Media Player not the Control Panel's "Portable Media Devices" can see it.
This happened suddenly yesterday with no indication of trouble coming and I have been banging my head on it since.
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the software (though there appear to be no drivers on the cd), and did it again, cleaning the registry of any entries I could find of "Samsung" and "YP-K3" between uninstall and reinstall. No love.
I have downloaded the latest software from Samsung, no help. I downloaded the firmware update but it won't install since it can't see that I have the hardware connected. Now I'm starting to cuss. I'm also at my wit's end.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you have Windows Media Player, just plug it in using the proprietary usb cable, and it should show up in Media Player. Click the Sync tab, and simply drag and drop.
