SOURCE: Baby Lock Eclipse threader looper

The part number is B8200-01a and you can get it from any authorized babylock dealer.
Give them this number and they can order it.

SOURCE: does not stitch lower thread

Make sure when you thread the machine you have the thread seated into the tension assembly on top, then make sure you have the threading ports locked and the switch in the proper place for each looper threading, the machine will only partially thread if you do not have the port locked and it will even still sew although not properly.

SOURCE: Baby Lock Evolve wire Looper threading tool

You have to get the replacement wires from a Babylock dealer, I did too then after sticker shock at the price of that wire I learned to make a thread cradle and use that to thread difficult threads no. Take about 24 inches of regular sewing thread and fold it in half, put the open ends (together, same legnth) into the jet air port and hold onto the loop end, press the jet air threader and it will thread the machine, insert the thread you want to use into the loop you have in your hand and pull it thru the machine using the ends of the thread you put thru the machine, sounds harder than it is and works all the time. No more spending $8 on replacement wires. You can use this method for all the jet air sergers.

Lower looper air threader will not thread on baby lock imagine serger

Have you tried to use the wire looper threaded to get the thread through the looper?
I have often used wooly nylon thread with the looper threader(above) (several thicknesses) using a clear dissolve The to clean out the tubes where the thread flows through the looper.
Apart from this you may require professional assistance by a qualified Babylock Technician

Left needle on baby lock serger "imagine" skips

Change needles if they have done a few hours. Ales use ballpoint if seaming stretch fabrics. Also you can get EL 705 needles, which have a longer scarf (groove at back) which helps with the loopers catching the needle thread. Or SUK is the stretch type with this longer scarf Also if you are using cheaper thread cones, try a better quality with smoother finish and consistent weight, this will help too. However if this doesn't resolve issue, your looper timing might need adjustment.

Baby lock Imagine Serger - Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem. The force air threader (looper) will not push the thread all the way through

I "THINK" I have my machine threaded properly but it will not make a chain stitch. I followed the thread guide for the narrow three spool set up with the right needle setting.
why would the machine not catch the chain ????

Where is the upper looper on Baby Lock Eclipse model DX

This is what an upper looper looks like http://www.tradekey.com/selloffer_view/id/3755146.htm

It is the one in the back and point toward the needles.

The looper in the front is the lower looper and points away from the needles.

Open both doors on the front of the serger and you will see the loopers to the left of the thread ports.

Hi..I have a babylock imagine, and trying to insert the upper looper thread and the thread won't go in all the way, no matter how hard I try, please help..Thank's

There is a wire threader that came with the serger that you can insert into the thread port to make sure the entry is not clogged with a broken thread.

I lost mine and use a length of fishing line.

I don't have a manual for my Baby lock Pro line model # BL4-738 NS. It was given to me and I have threaded it accordingly to the diagram on the machine but it won't pick up the stitch.

You will have to order the manual from a Baby Lock dealer.

This model may have to be threaded in a certain order.

Try raising the presser foot and setting the tensions to zero.

Turn the handwheel so the upper looper (the curved one) is at it's highest position - there may be a mark on the side of the serger where you align the handwheel for this.

Thread the upper looper and then the lower looper and then the needles.

Pull the threads under the presser foot and toward the side of the serger.

Set the tensions back to 4 - 6, lower the presser foot.

Hold onto the thread tails and gently press the power pedal to begin a thread chain before serging fabric.

The order in which to thread the serger

Your serger should be color coded for threading. Just do one at a time either left to right or right to left with the cones. And you should be all set.

Unable to thread lower looper on Babylock Eclipse BLE1SX

On rare occasions lint can clog the yubes on these sergers. One of the first things I do is thread the wire through in the opposite direction. It will sometimes push the blockage out. The other option is to use an air compressor and again blow the lint out from the opposite side. If this does not work take it to a service man.
