Question about Olympus FE-150 Digital Camera
I thought my battery was not taking a charge because when I charged it and put it in the camera, the camera lense opens and closes repeatedly and then shuts down - the battery light is red. I bought a new battery, charged it and I'm still having the same problem. The camera is only 2 yrs old and hardly used.
There could be a problem with the battery , the charger or the camera itself. I would recommend you send them to an Olympus service center location for evaluation.
Olympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product if beyond the one year factory warranty or the warranty is voided. The cost is $93.85 plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.
