Boggs down after 2-3 minutes.

I recently purchased an A45. Runs great for the first 2 or 3 minutes and then gets really bogged down. I have cleaned the cooling fan radiator and noticed a white connector with a black and red wire hanging loose. I have owned another A45 and remember a cooling fan kicking within 2 or 3 min. Do you think could could be the problem.

Yeah after boot up the cooling fan should kick in. If it does not and it is a laptop it will get too hot in there. Thermal Shutdown protection will kick in, if it is equip. If in 2-3 minutes it got so hot reaching its preset temperature shutdown, it will be down to prevent damage to the system.
