I have the same problem that integrated webcam(Vostro 1510) looks black screen am using both XP and VISTA also I uninistal and inistall so many times but never work in both ,just it works whenever u inistall new windows ,it works then you restart again become black screen .
till now nobody answer that problem.

worked fine until i installed googletalk and chat for gmail. now I get a blue LED but only a black screen. Am seriously frustrated. I had re installed web cam manager, now it says install driver using web cam driver and utilities cd.

you must have a wifi driver check it device manager goto start --> my computer -->right click then properties goto hardware tab check for your wifi driver is installed... find the yellow question mark... then try to install it...some wifi have a security you need to know the security code... ex. wep.. etc,.
Sometimes the driver that comes with windows is better than the one from the manufacturer's cd. I would try both and whichever one functions better is the one to use.Good luck to you.
