The keyboard is not sending a note off instruction after the key is released. Try checking midi preferences in reason. If your using a Mac check that the edirol is present by launching Audio MIDI Setup utility located in the utilities folder. You can download the latest Mac driver from Roland below: EDIROL PCR-300 32-key MIDI Keyboard Controller :: Download

Reason may have temporarily lost your audio settings, go to preferences and make sure MBOX is selected as audio output etc...
having a play around and getting familiar with the audio prefs. usually sorts out this sort of thing

I have a solution. Well, it worked for me.
When I write songs, I save all my songs into one whole folder.
Before i got the "unknown exception" message, tmp files started to appear out of nowhere in the same folder that I save my songs.
I didn't delete them because I didn't know what they did.
I took them out of the folder and just started to re-locate all the rns files (song files) into separate folders respectively.
Then it worked. In my opinion, the songs crashed with each other when opened. That's the best guess I can think of.
