Question about Ovens
240 v is ok, oven light works. no diagnostic codes. happened once before with an ff3? code that i was able to reset and it started working again. this time nothring happens excepts the beeps. i believe that the original failure code indicated an open clock circuit
Hi, the actual circuit that is open is the cancel key connection. Here is a check list that will help. I would consider replacing the ERC if the control is integrated.
1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).
Please rate and god bless:)
