Question about NEC MultiSync LCD1700V 17" Flat Panel LCD Monitor

Bought a new computer. Getting no signal from my multisync 1700V

Purchased an Acer Aspire X1700 computer. After connecting my multisync 1700V moniter I am receiving a "no Signal" message. I called Acer rep. and he stated that I needed to call NEC to help me. Can you help me??

Check the device manager and see what it says for the monitor...I know you can press CNTRL+ F5 for monitor selection , try this if everything is good in device mngr

Cd drive in my acer aspire x1700 doesn't open


You are going to need a paper clip. Look fo a small hole next to the switch. straighten the paper clip and put it in the hole in the center. carefully push to activate the mechansium to open the door. Then you can troubleshoot the door. Turn off the computer then pull the power cord from it. Open the computer case find the power cable to the cdrom/dvdcdrw and push it in to make sure you have good connection. If it still doesn't work after this then you can get a new drive for less than $30.00 (usd)

Acer aspire x1700 64 bit system powers up, but no display on monitor. I've connected monitor to mb display with no success. I installed a new DVI display adaptor, with no luck. I am apparently not...


Check your ram. put out all ram from pc and start your computer. than put one ram in pc and start the pc if it is work than the problem is in one of you rams.

Acer X1700 won't connect to monitor; monitor doesn't get signal from computer.


Is the monitor getting power? Does the power button light up? Check all your connections. Power from wall to monitor. Video cable from PC to Monitor. Do you have another computer or laptop you can try plugging into the monitor? If two machines don't work on the same monitor, it's either the monitor or the video cable itself.

Multisync LCD 1700V turns on then screen goes blank and shuts off


Does the power light stay on? If so, you have an inverter problem. If the power light goes off, you have a power supply problem.

Moniter says no signal


You may need to replace the moniter cord or check the video card on the computer.

I hooked my new computer up to my NEC Multisync 1700V moniter. When I power the moniter up the GREEN light comes on until I get a "no Signal Message" and then the amber lihgt comes on.


hi, hook up your old one and change the refresh rate to 60 or 70 hertz, go 2 display properties, then the settings tab, then advanced,then monitor. and set it as i said. turn off computer after you change settings. hook up the nec, you then should be good 2 go. good luck! and please rate this solution. if you need further help, reply.

Cannot connect my monitor to acer x1700


hi,
Please check on the function keys either on f2 or f3 butoon one screen will be printed.
Yyou will have to press Fn+screen button simultaneously after connecting the external monitor and the display will come on the monitor

connect both the mouse &keyboard restart the machine.if then also it not works then there must be some hardware problem&your desktop does not support.try the usb mouse&keyboard.

Connecting speakers to Computer


It's usually the green plug that you hook up speakers to. If you look closely at the sound card area of your computer, you will see little pictures telling you which one is for the mike, line in & speaker.
