What if the buttons are functioning different actions... like menu is zooming and the zoom is showing the menu... strange... but it is like this now, so, what do you suggest, is there any firmware ?

when a problem arises on your Canon 350d, Canon tech support will advise you to first reset your camera...set the mode to P and then go to menu, setup tools 2, clear settings..
the second option is to update your firmware by visiting the canon website, you can access this by going to google and searching for 350d firmware...
the third option will be to send your camera for service in Borehamwood UK...

Turn off the camera.
Remove the battery pack.
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.
Reinsert the battery pack.
Turn on the camera.
The blurry image capturing can also adjusted by changing the ISO Settings or the Scene Selection modes.
