Question about Cameras

1 Answer

We have owned a Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS for about a year. We have had trouble keeping the rechargeable batteries charged. We have tried non-rechargeable and it makes no difference . We can now only take 2 or 3 pictures before a recharged batteries go dead. The camera just "eats" batteries and/or charges. Its getting worse as times go.

Here your issue is with Battery not your camera..... you need to change your rechargeable batteries.

Non-rechargeable battery will help you take only 2-3 photos only. Please change your Re-chargeable battery and fully charge it frist then start using it.... this will resolve your issue.

Camera starts and then goes off because the lens wont come out

I have had this problem, and found that my battery was too low to use the camera. Try to charge the battery, or change it, and see if this helps.

I barley ever use my kodak camera sine christmas like 2 years ago and i have enigizer bunny bateries in it and i dont know if it hasd a charger but i need help cause the screen turns black whenever i use...

While let's start here if you rarely use it please don't leave batterys in it as they will rust and pop open. Batterys have acid in them and will cause a bad connecting when installing new ones. Are the batterys rechargeable or just regular batterys if so I would start there.

My Kodak Z1012 is camera doesn't work. I sent it to Kodak because it had a 1 year warranty. They mailed it back and said everything was fine but it still didn't work. I researched and many people said...

When you received the camera back from Kodak and you found it didn't work, you should have immediately contacted the support techs at Kodak and explained your situation. Then you would have been issued a complaint number and your camera could be returned to them for further analysis.

The only type of batteries that will recharge on the printer dock are kodak rechargables. Just place the camera on the dock and leave it. It should begin charging on its own.
