Lost conection with my hi-speed internet connection
Can you please give a little more details? is the modem still working? if high speed I am going to guess you mean Cablemodem, are the proper lights on/flickering? try unplugging the modem for 60 seconds and then plugging it back in and see if it reconnects. if it connects then turn the computer on adn try to connect then. if your computer cannot connect to the internet but the modem says it's online and you see the activity light is flickering, there is communication going on so there's a chance you may have a mess of spyware or malware on your computer. you can go to download.com and search for a free program there called "Ad-Aware" made by Lavasoft. it's a pretty good program i use to clean junk like that up. Also make sure your Antivirus is installed properly, working properly and updated and you've done a recent scan. other than that, I can't help very much without more information. Another easy hint, you did pay your internet bill right? :) did you try calling the ISP? what did they say?
