Princeton VL1918 Takes about 3-5 minutes to turn on

I have 3 of these monitors.  One started dong this about 6 months ago and now another has started.  The monitors take about 3-5 minutes to actually turn on after system boot but then run very good.  I would like to fix this problem as I like the picture on these monitors.
I have a feeling this is a thermal problem but its just that a feeling.
