DVD on laptop dont want to read CD
Here is a few solution and things you have to look at.
DO you have any software installed that creates a virtual cd drive? like "deamon tools?" (thats just the name of the software) Check if it spins up at startup and the light flashes on the drive. this means it has read some info and might be fine... Windows unfortunatley also goes crazy some times , I have a solution for a very experienced user cause it involves going into the registry. but for now just look at strange applications under add remove programes... Look to see if the lens is clean, but don't touch it, run a CD cleaner.
