Question about Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia Unlocked Cellular Phone
My problem is that I cannot copy any file to "My memory" card. I use ActivSync, and in the matter of fact when I explore "My windows mobile-based device" and go to "My memory", ActivSync can neither see any file inside this folder (although the photos I make using my Omnia are stored over there) nor copy any file from my PC (with a message "cannot find specifed file. make sure you specify correct filename and path").
The only option for now is to copy the files from my PC into "My Documents" folder inside of Omnia (using ActivSync), and then moving them from "My documents" to "My memory" card (using Omnia's copy-paste directly). But this solution is quite bad, because the memory in "My documents" is very small and I cannot copy more than 20mega at once...
intuitively, I thought that maybe "My memory" card is somehow protected and I have to unlock it too make its contents visible, but I cannot find a way to do it...
I will very appreciate any ideas on how to solve this problem.
Hi there, l am going to try and show you how to get to your memory card step by step starting with one
1...connect your phone to your putter
2...click on explore in the Microsoft ActivSync box when it is finished synchronized
3...another window will pop up that is called Mobile Device
4...at the very top of the list Double click on...My Windows Mobile Device
5...in the next widow click on...My Storage
6...OK if you did everything the way l have told you...you are half way there
7...now what you do here is right click and make a new folder and call it.. Video or Music or Photo's
8...The rest is easy just open that folder and copy and paste what ever you want into it....
9...Like me, l made a folder for photo's and music and video's..make as many as you want
...................... ..................... ..................... .................... ........
10...When you finish putting in all your music and video's and photo's into your folder's.. close everything and disconnect your phone from your putter
11...Now gab your phone and go click on Menu
12...then click on media album
13...then click on My Storage
14...there you go...all the folder's you made are there, just click on them to open them but remember if you click on your music folder make sure that you highlight the music note at the bottom of your phone screen or the file's will not show they are there...
15...The same is for video's and photo's, make sure you click the right image to what you want to view in that folder at the bottom of your phone......
16...To play a song or to view anything just click on it....
17...Well l hope l have solved everything for you, if you got this far down, good luck and all the best
