Doors open but will not close

When i try to close the doors it keeps on trying to open them I have a similar problem and have not been able to resolve it. When I close the door, it goes down all the way then a second or two later it goes back up again. There are no obstructions underneath the door to cause this. Any solutions?

Check the laser. Make sure that the safety lasers are properly alligned, If the bottom sensors next to the floor on the door rails sounds like it has been moved and just needs to be realigned. Pretty simple work to take care of the problem unless the sensor is broken

Try searching around here to find similar or hopefully exact opener. Stanley no longer is in the garage door business, and the company that bought them out went bankrupt.
Good Luck

How to take door panel off hyundai driver door.?

if you can't get the door open then i'm afraid you will have to cut it away and get a new one( the panel ) , have you tried removing the exterior weather strip from along top edge so you might get a bent coat hanger or similar to pull the latch to open door , worth trying because the alternative is a nightmare

Unlock locks on side of the door that keeps the door from closing

Not entirely sure what you're asking but I'll try. If the door does not close, the latch may have accidentally been knocked into the closed position. Unlock the door, have somebody pull the handle like they are trying to open the door and hold the handle out. Then place a screwdriver, or something similar, about 3/4" into the latch at the end of the door. Now push the screwdriver toward the vehicle, replicating the action of the striker as if the door was being opened normally. This should release the latch and the door will then close. If your problem is something else, add some more details and I'll try again.

We are having a difficult time getting the door back on the oven. Can you give us a tip on how to keep the hinges from snapping back when we are trying to hook the himges back onto the rods?

Passing on the solution. Some other blogger helped me, so I hope this will help you. Mine is a Kenmore Gas range, but the hinges might be similar. They are fixed on the door, not on the range. Get a couple sturdy nails or similar items and keep them in your hand. Use your foot to push the hinge all the way down, as if the door were fully open. You should see a hole in the hinge, in which to insert the nail to hold the hinge open. Repeat on the other hinge. Carefully lift the door in place and set the hinges so they hook onto the latches properly. You should be able to open the door a bit to take the tension off the nails. remove the nails, and that should be it. Even if your hinges aren't the same as mine, the principle seems to apply. My problem (maybe yours) was that I couldn't open the hinges and keep them open when trying to replace the door. They just would snap closed. Very frustrating.

Try putting a screwdriver in to act as catch on door frame & try pulling each handle & getting it to let go. Make sure you spray it, as well as behind it & around it with WD-40 or similar to get things loosened up in case their just partially seized. The keep working it with screwdriver until freed up.

Doors open but will not close

The safety beams (mounted on the track near the floor) are out of alignment and the LED light should be blinking. The garage door opener will not let the door close if the beams are misaligned. Realign them and the LEDs on the beam or on the operator will stay on. you can close the door now

Won't unlock

I've had a similar issue occasionally;
First, try turning it off and on again.
Then push the door closed with your knee as you pull the release handle.

My door seems to close tighter at the bottom than the top, so I have to push the bottom of the door in fully sometimes to get it to open. I guess some kind of sensor is getting tripped, and keeping the door locked..

I hope this helps!
