Hi,

Sorry about this please follow the steps i have outlined... put on your psp and go to System Setting > Restore Default Setting and press the O button. You can now restore to the default settings and go back trying to use the keyboard on your psp.

This should work for you.

Cheers

With dell keyboard. When I push a key it will not

Hi,
Had the same problem. Get a pointy knife & run it up & down between the keys. You will be amazed at the RUBBISH that comes out. Then hold it upside down, & with a stiff bristled brush, clean out the rest of the RUBBISH over a sheet of newspaper.

Occasionally the keyboard locks up on our Dell Inspiron 1521. We know this because the NUMLOCK symbol lights when this occurs.. We can not disable the NUMLOCK and can not type anything. Have to reboot....

Go to the Dell website and go to downloads...then they will ask you what type and model of computer you have. Fill in all the information which some of the numbers that they will need will be on the tower either top or side or back...once you tell them the model you have they will even be able to help you with where to find that information. Once you get to the download page, look for any updates that relates to your key board and download them or anything else since this could be related to a virus. After you get the updates necessary for you computer...see if the problem goes away...it probably will.

Problem with keyboard on acer aspire one

Try another keyboard cause it sounds like the keys have gone bad on it. Hook up another known working keyboard and if the problem goes away then you know that some keys are bad on the original keyboard. If the problem doesn't go away then that means that some key mapping has been going on and you would have to go into the control panel underneath the keyboard icon to resolve it.

Even though it seems to be working just fine, I think my keyboard is sending a signal to the computer without me knowing (or actually typing anything)--I've been having some computer troubles lately, and...

The easiest way to find out if it is your keyboard is to temporarily trade keyboards with someone. You will know quickly. It is not necessary to use a Dell keyboard.

Logitech MX3200 Wireless keyboard connects but prints garbage

Yes, I have a solution. Throw the bugger away! This has been the biggest piece of garbage I have ever bought. It has loads of unecessary features like using the buttons for other things. I am sick of it asking me if I want to assign an action to a key. I want a bog standard wireless keyboard. Yes, I'll assign an action alright. I'll throw it through the bloody window!!!!!!

Dell Inspiron 1300 Keyboard Lag

There is a program that is bundled with Dell machines called the Dell Media Experience. It runs on startup and has been known to cause issues with keyboards and typing speeds etc..... I found that by turning this off via MSConfig the problems associated with my keyboard went away.
Hope this helps.
Start - Run - MSconfig - Start up - Untick PCMService. O.K and restart.

Problem

I understand that when you try to increase the volume the programs freezes.

To isolate the issue please uninstall HP Quick Touch Software.

Here are the steps to uninstall HP Quick Touch Software.

Click start and select Control Panel

Then select Programs

Then select Programs and Features.

This will show list of programs

There select HP Quick Touch Software and click on uninstall/Remove.

Then restart the Notebook . This should resolve the issue.

Thanks.
