Problem for Palm Treo 680 Smartphone
Freeze and shut down
Hi,
today my Palm Treo 680 freezed when I tried to answer an SMS then shut down. I've been trying power it on again but no luck... So, I plugged it in to the wall charger, removed and replaced the battery, hocupocus it but no luck...
Could you please help me here? All my data is in this phone and I need to find it back ASAP.

- occasionally when a call is incoming I can not answer it either with the bluetooth, the green button or the answer square on the screen. It freezes up and I have to pull the battery and reinsert it to start. I have had several 680 phones (8) in the past couple of years due to this. Sometimes I become angered and throw them on the floor. It is an expensive problem. However, in the beginning I bought the silver phones and don't recall having that problem. I found the red ones here in mexico a little cheaper for use with Telcel.- mike918Solution #1

make sure the sim card is sitting snugly in the phone and if you have recently downloaded or added and 3rd party software that can mess up the phone, had the same problem and after I went through recently added programs I removed 1 at time and found the program causing the problem...have not had a problem since...have a Treo 680 for past 2 years
