Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
I cant use the internet over my WPA2 secured WiFi network. I thought it was a problem with the phone, so I called apple. They took me through some troubleshooting to no avail. I took it in to the genius bar (per applecare's suggestion) Unfortuanately when I went in, it connected just fine to their network, and would open webpages. Their network is, of course, unsecure. Just to clarify, I can connect to my network, and even get into the settings of my router, but when I try to load a webpage, I get something to the effect of cant find server
A few things to try if havent all ready. Make sure your other wifi devices can connect to internet in this network. Toggle airplane mode 15 seconds. go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings. In wifi settings join other network and manually enter SSID and wpa2 password, rather than trying to connect automatically. Turn ask to join networks off if you have to. Make sure the Wifi symbol is next to AT&T on top of phone. Open safari. If you are able to connect to router but not internet in safari. Check your Dns settings on iphone, if iphone is not resolving dns, make sure your router is configured properly.
