Question about LG DLE2532W Electric Dryer
The dryer was working fine and then during a drying cycle it started making a very loud noise when it would rotate. Did a belt brake or ??? What should I look for?
Sounds to me like the nylon pieces that isolate the drum from the front of the door are gone, you may want to open it up and take a look at it. Is it an old dryer? Its either that or I suppose it could be the bearing in the middle of the back but I dont think it would be in only certain parts of a rotation, it would be all. Im sure the drum probably just ate through the nylon seperator.Theres not much else that only makes noise part of the time.. and theres not many moving parts.
Im not sure if there are replacement pieces for this but you can google it.
