If you are connecting the system directly to your Broadband Modem than your ISP may have your regularly connected computer's MAC address logged in their system. Generally only Cable Modem companies do this, so to see if that is the problem do the following:
1. Locate your Cable Modem
2. Flip it upside down and locate the MAC address, it should look like this:
3. Write down the MAC address
4. Now turn on your Xbox360 and go to the network configuration menu.
5. find the part that says CLONE MAC ADDRESS and then put in the MAC address you wrote down.
6. after the settings have been entered back out to the main menu, and power off, then power back on your Xbox360, you should be able to get on line now.
