Question about Hoover 24 in. HD98E Built-in Dishwasher

Dishwasher Hoover HD98E

Hi, My problem is that when I start a cycle the proframme starts and goes through its normal pgramme for a while but then stops and E3 Starts to flash on the display and when I open the machine the waste water is still there. I start it again and the waste goes away so there is no problem with the waste pipe. I wonder if anyone out there knows what E3 being displayed is and what is going wrong. Mick

Re: Dishwasher Hoover HD98E

E3 means water is "not heating" for this model. Check the heating element, thermostat/thermistor or printed circuit board with power OFF.

Powerpoint dishwasher flashing E1 any solutions please

E1 is commonly know as a leakage error which occurs due to the excessive RPM of Washing Motor happened during Wash cycle due to water leakage. To start with check if there is a water leakage in hose connections, motor water seal leakage of sump assembly or water is leaked due to damages. Replace the connections of Hose if bad. Also check the point of damages and repair or replace the related parts.

Hi my hoover 6612 dishwasher does its pre-wash but then when the light for wash comes on it does nothing. I wondered if it might be a capacitor which needed replacing but I can't find one - any ideas??

Check the float switch inside the tub, it should move freely up and down.

Check the harness to the motor

Check start capacitor on the left side of the wash motor

Arms not rotating

pull out washer disconnect lines unplug it open the door pull out the racks(room to work) look for any stray parts laying at the bottom(small black belt, srews any metal debris)if you find any of that try to find where it came off sounds like a pump problem easy fix connect hoses to pump and mount the pump.check all hoses and spray tips thoroughly

Dishwasher starts for seconds but, then shuts off

Check that water supply is available and that water inlet valve is operational. Filling unit is usually the first step of any wash program and dishwasher is shutting down because float valve is not actuated.

It's probably the heater element that has gone, but it could be a simpler fault like the pressure switch not activating. See this video it should give you the general idea
