Question about Canon PowerShot G10 Digital Camera
I have a Canon G10, I've had it less then a month, took about 50 pictures with it.. now it wont turn on at all. The lens is open and extended.. I hit the power button and it wont do anything. The battery is fully charged. Any suggestions???
Try removing the card first and then trying to power up the camera. Cameras often fail to turn on/off when a card goes faulty. Next I would try pushing the playback button, it also acts as a power button but starts the camera in playback mode. If this works it could indicate a problem with the power switch circuit itself. If there is still no sign of life I would suspect a fuse to have blown. They are internally located and very small, you would need to have a service centre try replace it for you. Good Luck!
