Manuel for uh7700nb

Hi Rob,
It dosen't matter what the serial number is, only the model, in your case UH7700NB.
try: and lookup their site for 2-way radios and follow the links to CB Radios and then to user manuals.
If that fails, try joining yahoo group specialising in your model radio, they will be very helpful.

CB base Station picking up interfence with inverter

Inverters are full of diodes and diodes are extremly noisy devices. Also the filtering in CB radios is not the best as manufactures try to keep costs down to compete. Try unplugging the antenna from the radio and see if the noise stops. If it does not stop, then buy an inline filter to go in the supply to the radio and place it as close to the radio as possible. If the noise DOES STOP when the antenna is unplugged then it is coming in through the antenna and there is not much you can do but maybe buy a much higher quality radio with better filtering. You might try moving the antenna. Magnet mounts are not as good at blocking noise as high quality permanent mounts. Work to get your SWR as low as possible. Use high grade low loss coax from the antenna into the radio and use high quality connectors like the Amphenol brand. It takes time and effort to solve this type problem and some times nothing works.

I have my radio hooked up in my jeep and i can hear other people talk but it seems that they cant hear me talking. Its all hooked up right. i checked to see if there was a tuning thing on it and there...

Turn up "MIC GAIN" also check and see if it keys up full scale 4 watts on output meter. If that doesn't do it change MICS. Go for a power mic by cobra that runs off say a double AA battery. It may be conditions also or your out of range of persons. check Antenna,Swr reads (should be 1.1 to 1.5)on a Radio Shack meter. Try it all.

Radio will not accept code

As your display says WAIT then the most likely cause is that you are using the wrong code.(Often the radio has been changed in the past so the Serial Number or Code quoted in the car handbook is incorrect)

To see if your code is available here  for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .
Also quote the MAKE of CAR
note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the Serial Number
Otherwise try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive
