Sounds like you will need to format the memory card. This will permanently erase all the data from the card and then you will be able to use it again. To format the card: Press the Menu button - right arrow to Setup- right arrow to format option. You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the card and it can be used again.

MEMORY CARD SHOWING FULL BUT WHEN CAMERA CONNECTED TO DOWNLOAD TO LAPTOP OR DESKTOP ITS SHOWING FREE SPACE AND USED SPACE BUT NOT SHOWING ANY PICTURES AND VIDEOS,

Save the pictures and videos on the card. Try reformatting the card in the computer, and then again using the camera. The first reformat will ensure the card is empty, and then the camera reformat will ensure that it is recognized by the camera. If the camera reformat will not work, try a new card.

Put the card back into the camera and format it.

Formatting an SD card sort of deletes the pics. However there is software that can recover thes pics.

Transfer Photos from favorites to PC?

Hi I am sorry to say sounds like you have deleted them , the menu favourites is not a separate memory it is just a prefix for the camera to find your favorite pictures .. so if you have erased them I think all you are actually seeing on the camera are the saved thumbprints to favourites with the address on them so the camera knew where they where stored .. But you have deleted them so they wont show in the cards directory as they are no longer there . To doubly check my theory please check your available memory on the card and work out how many photos it can store and what space is available .. and would there be space for your pictures on the card if they where still there for example .. card size 1ghz
each picture in Bmp format uses approx 500kb in jpeg or jif format approx 250 kb so multiply the number of photos you took by 250 or 500 depending on what format they are on the camera . take the available space stated and the maximum space available and deduct it from the greater , then tally the amount left with the amount of space needed for your photos . if it correlates then they may just be there in a hidden file if it doesen't then I am afraid you have lost them .. if it seems they are there in files on your computer activate hidden files view and you just may find them .. but I seriously doubt it .. always save pictures to Computer before deleting them from any directory on the camera as when moving them from directory on camera it sometimes only re categorizes them as the camera has limited space .. When I try to download from my camera the picture gets huge then it does nothing, none of the sites will pop up. I have tried reinstalling the software but it still does not work...any suggestions?

You didn't indicate the model of your camera or computer.  Knowing that along with the amount of memory in your computer would help with questions like this.
You are probably running out of memory.  The simplest solution might be to invest in a card reader (if you don't have one) and copy the images directly from the camera's flash memory card to the computer disk directly.
Barring that, if you have enough space on your disk, you could increase the amount of virtual memory, that involves going into the control panel / system / advanced / performance / advanced / virtual memory and try doubling the amount of space used for virtual memory (initial and max).

Samsung Rant Camera Error

Try turning your phone off every now and then. I called in my problem to sprint and they said to leave it off at night, or just simply turn it off and then right back on. Now that I've been doing this I don't have that problem anymore.

Didgatial camera

Greetings ashley 1980,

Internal memory on this camera is a small amount of space you can save photos without using an additional memory card. On this model it is 16 mb, which for a 4 megapixel camera is going to accomodate a limited amount of pictures. This would be more than likely about 10 pictures.

I hope this helps.

Picture storage appears reduced

Hey there wenpet, there are two possible causes for your problem. On is that the card is not being totally emptied and the other is that your camera settings are at a higher resolution than before, therefore each picture has more detail, and is taking up more memory space. I would suggest that you use your computer to delete any thing remaining on the memory. Install the memory back in your camera and then reformat. This step should ensure your memory is totally empty. For the other potential problem, check the settings on your camera. The higher the resolution, the more memory space each picture uses up and vice versa. Your camera manual should indicate the picture memory usage for each setting. If you have any further questions, please let me know. Good Luck!
