Question about Compaq Presario 2700 15" Flat Panel LCD Monitor

Password problems When I was in college I lived in the dorms. to keep my roomates off my computer I had my internet password protected. It didnt allow access to any unrated websites, which turns out to be most. However it has been a couple years now since I have used my internet, and I cannot remember the password, and the hint does not help whatsoever. Is there anyway to change this password so I can actually use the internet??

Re: password problems

Operating systems have passwords I don't know of a built in password for the internet. So the only option would be a third party software that adds internet protection like a firewall maybe. Look for programs like zone alarm, Norton, or Mcafee because they may include internet security it may even be like a net nanny. If you find something disable or uninstall it to see it thats the one creating the problem. Hope this helps.

I have a fujitsu siemens AMILO Pro v8210 ,hardisk derial nr.871100490181 0807. Every time ill switch it on it ask for SATA HDD PASSWORD.wHAT IS THIS AND WHERE CAN I GET...

Problem 1:
The hard drive has been encrypted and password protected for theft protection. SATA HDD passwords cannot be reset or circumvented, if the person who entered the code does not tell it to you, the hard drive must be replaced for a new one. Again, there is no remedy. Connecting the HDD to a different computer and formatting the drive won't work either.

Problem 2:
Siemens and Fujitsu divorced some time ago, but Fujitsu continues to support the joint venture customers. An authorized Fujitsu service station can remove the BIOS password, but you will need to show proof of ownership.

After loading new ink cartridges the red and green buttons are flashing alternatley.

The waste ink collector pads are getting full and this is a protection indicator.
Either get the machine serviced or it may be cheaper to replace it-[depending where you live]
There are tricks to keep the machine going- but eventually the you will get ink leaking all over the place.

The problem is not the computer or software it is the monitor. The power supply in the monitor is going out. We repair these units all the time for the same problems that you have. We have repair guides on our web site showing how to do the repair. Check our site at :

My computer password protected

go to Start/Run and type "control userpasswords2" minus the quotes. You can also use "control userpasswords" to bring up the user accounts menu thats found in control panel.
If you are using a standerd account go onto this website and consider what they offer:

Administer password

If you have windows XP, boot the computer in safe mode. When you start the computer keep tapping the F8 key to the advanced boot menu. Select safe mode. It would give you the login screen. Select Administrator, do not enter any password, if you can get through, it means that you did not setup a password for the system administrator. Once you get to the safe mode window with the icons, you go to start, control panel, user accounts, select the user account that you used to login and delete the password. You can retype a password again and exit out of the window and restart the computer. You would be good to go.

If you have windows vista, and you have created the password reset disc, you can use that to reset the password. You need to boot the computer with that disc. if not, you need to run the system recovery on your computer.

Technical Support

There are several ways you can do this. There are password reset tools that you can boot to a cd from which can wipe out a password, Also if you have the restore disks for the computer you can do a destructive restore which would wipe everything off the computer and set it back to day one. Another option is to boot the machine into safe mode and if the administrator account is not password protected then you can go into control panel and under the user accounts option you can remove the password from an account.

My computer

Dear Tokyorose-4

Hi there, well your solution i really easy, backup everything you want to keep from your computer, such as photos, pics, files, docs etc.

Once you have done this, if you have a windows xp/ vista/ or operating system disc, then you can just format and re-install this yurself, and then you will end up with a freshly installed operating system on your machine, then you can do what you like with it, make up your own passwords and internet provider etc, with no hassle about those annoying popups.

I hope that this works out for you, and if you require assistance with regards to the instructions on how to format your machine, then please contact m back here at anytime you like and i will gladly help you on the issue, and you can do this at anytime 24hrs a day 7/365 days a year

yours sincerely

this will definitely work, you can DIY jobby ths, and SAVE YOURSELF A SMALL FORTUNE, WHILE GAINING GOOD EXPERIANCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR SYSTEM!!!1 enjoy :)
