Cant get any power to the deck?

If 12v sourse and ground are connected check under hood for fuse block make sure all fuses are good also check cab of car and verify all fuses are good and check wiresconnected to player for fuse as well as the unit itself if still no power verifyall connections are tight. If this does not work your unit is bad you could try opening it and looking for visual damage i.e. button for power has a broken wire

Stock DVD player? Not likely...

Sounds like an aftermarket deck...but these are 1.5 din units...it may only look like it has a DVD player screen, due to the display size.

Cant find hand brake wire for clarion dvd head unit model no. vrx486vd well i cant get video to work earthed the grass green wire and nothing please help!!


i have the same model its the green wire next to the earth wire bottom row make sure u earth it otherwise the unit can be frustrating at times!!!!

My Hyundai Elantra 2007 SLX no longer has a working CD Player. I put any CD in and get "CD ERROR" message. What can I do to fix this?


Next time you have the deck out before disconnecting the power turn the deck upsidedown.be carefull disconnect power either Battery or fuse for 10 min reconnect Power With deck still upside down insert CD and try and play. Remedy for Jarred CD DVD players even Game consoles. It realigns the Eye.

disconnect the pink wire from the parking brake (the one coming out of radio) and put a switch on it going to ground. turn switch on off on. youll get picture then

wire the parking break wire from the deck to the ground and it will work like a charm, until your crappy vm9410 all of sudden won't turn on any more :( It seems no one has a solution for that PROBLEM!!

No power to DVD combo player. VCR OK.


The power circuit for the DVD and the vcr are separate look for a open diode and transistor in the circuit that supply the DVD.GOOD LUCK.
