SOURCE: programing codes

Here is the link I just found the manual on for this remote control, which I needed the codes for myself: go there type in the remote model RCR450 enter, click on the link that comes up and download the Manual in PDF form.

The codes for Sanyo are 1004, 1048, 1049, 1073, 1080, 1162, 1169, 1180 depending on which model you have.

1: Turn on the device you want to program ex: the TV

2:hold the button for the device you need to program in ex:TV
while holding down TV button hold down ON/OFF at the same time for 3 secs and the light should turn on and stay on.

3:click the ON/OFF button until the TV finally turns off may take many times but as long as the light stays on when your not pushing a button you still have codes to go through.

4:press the stop button and the device is programmed into the remote.

How do i link remote to tv and dvd?

Hi Damien,

Unless you have an 'intelligent' remote (e.g. Samsung), then you'll have to program either remote to sync with the other device. For example, if you want to use your original TV remote, then you'll find a program procedure and code in your TV manual (or online). There will be a remote button sequence you follow, including the input of the code that corresponds with your DVD model (e.g. Sony). If the remote takes the code, then it is actually programmed and should communicate with your DVD in a generic capacity. Sometimes your device remote has device-specific features that only its original remote would be able to access, so don't get rid of the DVD remote.

I've attached a link to Samsung's programming sequence -- yours would be different of course with a different mfg.

3. Press the button for the device you want to control, e.g., TV and release.
4. Press and release the ON-OFF (or POWER) button firmly and repeatedly (up to 200 times) until the device turns off
5. Press the ENTER button to program the code.

Want to set up Universal remote broke original remote

Universial Remotes come with an instruction booklet that will detail how to program your new remote with your audio/video devices.

There is a 4-5 digit code for television/dvd/vcrs that you need to input on the remote control via its programming sequence in order to use it with your tv/dvd player.

The programming is usually done by pressing and holding 2 buttons on the remote until you see a flashing light on the remotes LED then by inputting the necessary code.

Hi, i have the rm312x remote control but i've lost the usermanual... i need code for my samsung aa64-0007a and the sequence to program the control

OK, you can download the manual (free) for your remote here:

This download is a zipped file and contains both instructions and equipment codes. Although it refers to a "Chunghop" remote, they are the manufacturer. Your remote has a GE badge, but this IS your remote.

Most GE remotes have the same programming instructions and use the same codes. You can download the programming instructions and the remote codes (in PDF format) from this page:

I suggest trying the 4 digit codes first as the 3 digit codes are generally for old models.

Please rate this solution if you find it helpful. Thanks.

I lost my instruction manual and the code can you help me program

Sorry it took so long to respond to your request for assistance. You can find the instructions and codes you need to program your television at the RCA customer support website [ ] Copy this web address and paste it into the address bar of your web browser. This will take you to the RCA main customer support page. Just go to the universal remote control section and find your model remote control. Use the model number to find the technical support information page. On this page will be a copy of the owners manual and the remote control codes to use with your products. I hope this information helps you with your problem of needing instructions and codes to use your remote with your products. Thank you for using FixYa and have a nice day!

this is from your producer: Product Description ? BASIC OPERATION OK ? everyone knows what a handheld remote control unit does for your home electronics. You can control your basic four (4) components: TV, DVD player, VHS player, Cable or Satellite tuner. Setup is simple for these basic 4? put in the batteries, look up the manufacturer of your component (Mitsubishi TV) and note the possible 3-digit ?program codes?? turn on the component, press the remote control?s PROGRAM button until the light stays red, press the component button (i.e., TV), enter in the ?program code?, and press the ?power off button? ? if the component (i.e., TV) turns off: you are programmed! If the component (i.e., TV) doesn?t turn off, then repeat the sequence using another of the manufacturer?s program codes until it does. Easy ? took me about 3 minutes to program my old Zenith TV (in the bedroom), my SONY DVD player, and my Mitsubishi S-VHS player. No problems at all. HOWEVER, in case you do run into a component for which the ?program codes? don?t work? you can go through a sequence to self-identify the coding. While I won?t go into it here, it is only slightly more time consuming than the other method. As my codes worked fine, I can not address this aspect, so I won?t make a claim we didn?t test.
