Condensation water build up inside refrigerator

The tray underneath your fridge is probably clogged, and overflowing. There is an evap tray underneath, and if it does not get adequate airflow, it will overflow, and leak out.

Clean the bottom front vents, and underneath the fridge to ensure adequate airflow.

Can't clean out spilled (and now sour) milk spill

Hi, I'm not familiar with these fridges, but is it possible to access it from the back, underneath the evaporator tray? It could even be that the milk has gone down the drain hole and into the evaporator tray itself. Its a small flat plastic tray that has raised sides, and will probably have water in in, sits just above the motor

Water leaking into fridge

Drain system is most likely clogged. The top of the frig is a tray that collects condensation. This runs down a tube down the back of the frig. Remove the tray, clean exit hole and check to see if drain tubing is clogged. Fairly easy to do, just pay attention to what order you take things off and just reverse the order to put back together

My whirlpool refrigerator Model ET18PKX6W00 leaks water under vegetable bins

Check behind the bins for a condensation tray/hose. Most refrigerators have these as they develop condensation due to the temperature differences when opening and closing the door. The tray catches the condensation, and drains it to a tray under the fridge. Here it evaporates when the compressor runs. Sometimes things block the tray or the hose gets clogged with gunk. clean out the tray/hose and hopefully your problem will end.

Leaking water from back on to floor

This could be that the drain tank at thebottom of the fridge is overflowing. Normally the drain water will evaporate off with the heat from the compressor but if possible it is good to clean and drain the collecting tray in the bottom of the fridge. You must have access to the backside of the fridge and remove the tray which is normally a pulllout. Drain , clean and put it back-- slide it in. Hope you do thei. Also make sure that the freezer setings are normal and not set high. During cold season this can condense more water to overflow the drain. Hope you try., Good day

Refrigerator is leaking from the bottom

Hello,

Check the hose under your fridge that drains condensation and such into a catch tray. Make sure the hose is draining properly.
Blow air through the tube to make sure it is not clogged. A coat hanger wire can be inserted to break up clogs. An alternative method is to use a bicycle pump to force air through the drain hole to remove any obstruction. Vacuum dust bunnies from under the fridge to allow free flow of the air. Most refrigerators periodically blow warm air across the condensation tray. The warm air dries the condensation in the tray.
Good luck........

Milk which was spilled in the fridge has dripped into the drip tray behind the fridge and has created the most awful smell. Can the tray be removed for cleaning and if so how?

Yes, usually the tray can be removed for cleaning. You will have to pull the fridge out, unplug power, remove the rear access cover. Then you should see the evaporator / condensate tray and how to remove it.

Fridge not cold enough to hold milk resulting in the milk becoming sour. Fridge temperature is 10 degrees C how can we make it cooler? We have already set the temperature to the dial 7.

You could do the simple things like clean the dust and stuff around the compressor condenser. Check the condenser motor. Good air flow improves performance and cost nothing to fix. Of course if you are experiencing a defrost problem the air from below gets choke out with ice buildup around the evaporator area. If you have frost on the backside of the freezer section changes is you have a broken defrost heater.

Spilled milk inside the fridge ends in the catch tray

The pan is for holding the defrost water for it to evaporate. If the milk creates an odor, you can acces the pan by removing the front panel under the door (usually). The pan will probably come out so you can clean it.

Fridge door

Have you cleaned the condenser in the eight years? If not it is due time. Some are located in back of the toe plate under the door. Others are located in back behind a removable panel. Be sure to reinstall the panel after cleaning as it is necessary for proper air circulation for the system.
