Re: Google Desktop

If you have problem with GDT then you should reinstall it. If this dont solve your problem then some file is missing from your pc. Remove it from Add/Remove programs in control panel and then reinstall it. For missing file you need to reinstall your operating system then try again

Re: Google Desktop

Un-install it and re-down load from a "trusted" website directly from Google. Then re-install. Should work.

How do I down load I-con for Netflix on my laptop

I'm confused as to what's wrong.
You went to and downloaded / installed but no icon showed up? Or your watching directly from Netflix? Do you have a shortcut with no icon on your desktop? Or you have no shortcut at all?
What OS are you using?

Below is for Windows XP / 7
To fix you have short cut with no icon you can follow steps below or download it again and re-install
Open Internet Explorer or any web browser and go to Click the image you wish to use and download the ico version.
Right click the shortcut to Netflix on your desktop and click change icon. Browse to the ico file you saved.

There are other icon sites out there. This is the first one I found that SEEMED safe to use, but I do not own the site.

To fix your watching directly from Netflix with no shortcut or icon.

Right click on your desktop and click create shortcut
copy and past this
name it Netflix.

If I got your needs all wrong please explain more.

Program to connect SGH-A412 to computer. Has windows 7 on computer

ok ..had same issues as you all running Win7 i had a play about and got it all working 100%

ok step 1
download this file" 20080616115846062_Samsung_USB_Driver_Installer" (google search it or goto samsung website)

step 2
download this file" Samsung_PC_Studio_323_IF5" (google search it or goto samsung website)

save them to a new folder on your desktop, or to a place you normally download files to (do not open or run them)
right click each exe icon select properties and select compatibility tab
select "Run this program in compatibility for" WINDOWS XP (service pack 2)
also enter a tick in the check box for run as administrator

do this for both .EXE icons

run the usb driver file first
then run the pc studio

the USB files may fail to function at this stage, but its fine ....once you have installed pcstudio..and if you have errors on the USB files run them again....and they will work fine

1 more thing on the PC Studio icon that i splaced on your desktop after installation right click again and select properties compatibility win xpservice pack 2 and administrator..and all should work

The camera did not work on my jwin product;jcam-800. I returned it and tried a new one. Now the first installation is frozen and it will not allow me to install the new (same product new CD) CD. My dad...

Try this.

Go to the web site "" download and install a programme called "Ccleaner" an excellent programme which can be used to clean web rubbish off your pc.

Once installed, open the programme and click on the tools icon in the column on the left hand side of the window. This will give several options, one of which is "Uninstall", click on said option and scroll down to your "jcam" software and uninstall.

Re-boot your PC and try to re-install the software.

Start Menu And Desktop Icons Are Gone The start menu and desktop icons are gone. When I right click on the desktop nothing happens. I have to do things with the task manager only! How do I get them...

First of all Start up menu and desktop icon doesn't appears because explorer.exe doesn't loads properly which is a system component file mandatory for the computer to load...Now the solution:-

Press CTRL+ALT+DEL simultaneously ONLY when you don't see any icons or the start up menu
Windows TASK MANAGER will appear.
Now click on FILE top left corner>>>NEW>>Type explorer.exe>>Click OK or enter

You will be able to see all the icons

Now the Software Counterfeiting problem..This happens when your copy of windows doesn't pass the Genuine test..Now this doesn't mean that the copy which your using is not genuine.Even if its not genuine i.e. pirated..there's a common solution for it.
Click on the following link to download and install WGA remover which will remove the Software Counterfeiting problem..

I hope this fixes your problem,If it doesn't please reply

Thanks & Regards

Java has stopped

Open Internet Explorer and click Tools and then click Internet Options. Click the Security tab and highlight the "Internet" Icon and then click the button for Custom Level. Go down the list till you get to the JAVA section and Enable those options. Click OK when done, close Internet Explorer and reopen it. Now try to do what you were trying to do and see if it works now.

Google Desktop will not start.

The shortcut on your desktop maybe the old one you said that you reinstalled the Google Desktop BUT you did not uninstall the first one. The Icon on your desktop still refers to the old installation when somewhere while you use that programm CCleaner it wipe Google Desktop. Delete the icon on your desktop and reinstall allow google to place the icon again on the desktop. I can tell you another way to go and get it but that takes another explanation.
