Hi vallast

Here is a diagram on how to wire your 3 toggle setup.
i need a wiring diagram - 3cd7a58.gif There are endless variations on how to do it. Pickups can be switched in and out of phase, in parallel or series.

Check out here for more details on the above wiring diagram.

Strat style wiring is done with a 5 way switch generally. Using the toggles allows you to rephase vitually all the pickups getting heaps of different tones. Thanks for using FixYa, good luck. A decent guitar Tech can easily help you to rewire your Axe. If you get stuck. hit me back here and I will help you further:) Cheers.

Tone changes in pearly gates pick up

What you describe sounds like pickups fighting against each other meaning, does this occur when using pickups individually or together? This is normal when using more than one pickup together, if it occurs in single mode, something is wired wrong. Another thing is, If using single, are you splitting coils? Individual coils wired wrong can do this, a bad pickup selector switch can also. A loose wire or fiber touching the tone pot capacitor or ground could also. A dead coil on a humbucker can as well. I'm guessing that you are using these in combo meaning a possible pickup selector switch may not be switching properly. The player's level of experience is also in my mind since, all of my guitars do the exact same ONLY when I use more than one pickup. I hardly ever use more than one at a time unless I'm playing a strat.

Guitar pickup wiring diagrams

That guitar features two single coil pickups when stock. If, however, you or someone else installed a 4 conductor humbucker in the neck and you want to access other tonal options, check out the Seymour Duncan web site- they have tons of easy to understand diagrams- you just need the soldering skills to make use of them!
Make your selections on this page and good luck!

Push pull guitar diagrams

check at seymourduncan.com...your humbucker needs to have 4 conductors in order to tap coils...which is what I presume you want to do with the push/pull...
relative pickup wire colors:

Need adiagram for replacing 3 wire factory humbuckers with 4 wire seymour duncans

These are for the seymour duncan JB pickup which uses an extra switch for a coil tap. If you tie the leads of the switch you can avoid using it in which it would become a normal humbucker.3_8_2013_7_29_41_pm.jpg

Hi,i have an 1978 ibanez (Lawsuite) guitar.I need to know how to wire the pick ups and the selector switch. Can someone help me?

Many sites with good diagrams out there. Try http://www.guitarelectronics.com/ . - look at the bottom left of the home page for links to the diagrams. Sounds like you have a Strat copy, just use any Strat Diagram that matches your pick ups weather its 2 singles and a humbucker or 3 singles.
Also try http://www.guitar-mod.com/rg_diagrams.html these should get you a good start.

For standard unbranded guitar parts, I generally search on <generic online auction site>.

make sure you get a pickguard with the right cut-outs for your pickup arrangement (humbucker / single coil).

Its a tele style guitar and its as if the volumn and tone controls are intermixed. they both have to be down to silence all sound. humbuckers front and rear three position switch. are jb player all...

Possible problems include defective volume control or broken wire OR improper wiring.

Volume controls can have a broken resistance element and fail to go to zero volume.
