You cannot program the PVR to only record the new episodes with this unit. However, you can set it to record all episodes of a program. Press the Rec button on the remote. Select your PVR that you want to have record the program. Use the arrow keys to navigate to More Recording Options. Select All Options. (Note: if your program is moved by the channel programmers, the show that airs instead will be recorded by the PVR.) ok ...ussually when you record a clip with a camera atached to the pc ...it will ask you to save it somewhere ...but if yiu use a special program or any other program related to your camera ...it will ussually save it into My Doc ...My Videos ...by default ...but you might been setted it to have another director for saving and you should take a look on the camera settings ...
if when you make the capture it asks you to save the file ...and name it...just look than where is located to be saved...

you will need the adapter and the good news is, the box is free, the downside to this is the panasonic recorder is going to need to only record on channel 3 or 4(there is a switch on the back of the comcast box) and the comcast box will need to be on the channel the program is on. I.E. Panasonic recording channel 3 or 4 from 10-11 am comcast box on channel 55 during that time.

The short answer is that you have a corrupt hard drive and the receiver needs to be replaced. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

on front of receiver, there is a door that you can open. behind the door there is a red reset button. press the red reset. this should fix the problem

Setting the Clock

announce the day and time that each
message is received. Press Play/stop to exit
Setting the Clock at any time.
1 Press and hold Clock until the
Message Window displays C, and the
default day is announced.
2 To change the day setting, hold down memo/repeat
or ANNC/Skip until the
correct day is announced. Then
release the button.
3 Press and release Clock. The current
hour setting is announced.
4 To change the hour setting, hold down memo/repeat
or ANNC/Skip until the
correct hour is announced. Then
release the button.
5 Press and release Clock. The current
minutes setting is announced.
6 To change the minutes setting, hold
down memo/repeat or ANNC/skip until the
correct minutes setting is announced.
Then release the button.
7 Press and release C. The new day
and time are announced.
To check the clock, press and release
Clock.
NOTE: In the event of a power failure,
