It is probably one of the micro switches, but if it is less than 18 months old, take it back and get your money and buy something good because these are junk.
Hi
More than likley you grinder has become seperated internally. You either need to disassemble the grinder completely, clean it and then try to reconnect the pieces or just replace the grinder. I have some. Just let me know, new or used reconditioned.
Due to the use the grinding burrs are slightly move and wire out. So I advice you to move only one max two step to more fine coffee grinding from the one you have and try the coffee.
The test you have to do is that for about 30 cc of coffee the time that the coffee will run should be about 20 to 22 seconds. If the coffee more faster you need more fine grinding. If the coffee run more slower than 28 sec you need more gross coffee grinding.
Good luck

The same thing happens to mine when I grind the coffee too fine. Try grinding a bit coarser, and pack extra grounds in. Amazing coffee when you get it right, and the grounds aren't runny with the coarser grind.
Hope this helps.
