It wont drain or spin. It gives me a error F 02, there is nothing stuck under the rubber of the door. I checked the hose it is clear, the wall drain is clear and it is between 30" and 96" from the botttom of the washer as Manuf. suggests. It turns off every minute and I have to press "cancel" then "start" and it runs for another minute then gives the F 02 again. It also throws a few "suds" error codes and adds water, and the nightmare starts over!! I use only HE detergent and have even tried running cyles with no detergent, in case there was a build up. I have a husband and 2 teenage boys....I need to wash clothes. Any suggeastions?

This advice is for Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet model front loading washers. If you experience a problem where the door becomes jammed and will not unlock or open, here's an easy way to gain access inside your washer WITHOUT calling the repairman.
1. Remove the lower panel under the door by loosening the three screws under the bottom edge on the front of the washer. HINT: If you prop up the front feet of the washer with some small blocks of wood, this will make access to the screws much easier. 2. With the screws removed, the lower panel should drop down then come off. If the panel sticks, a light tap on either side will knock it loose. 3. Reach your hand up inside the washer behind the front casing on the right-hand side. This is where the door latch assembly is located. 4. At the bottom of the door latch assembly is a small pull tab. This is the manual release for the door. Pull the tab straight down and the door will come open.
Sometimes these doors will not unlock for whatever reason. If there are no error codes being generated, this could have just been a momentary glitch. If you see "Fdl" "DLE" or "Fdu" error codes, these are usually indications of a failed door latch assembly and will require replacement.

"F02" is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:
1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged. 2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running. 3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions.
Once you retrieve your clothes, try running diagnostics on it. You can envoke the diagnostic sequence by selecting DRAIN/SPIN, NO/SPIN and then pressing any button under OPTIONS 4 times (must be the same button). The display should go to "C00" as the washer begins a sequence of tests that checks the fill functions, door lock, dispenser functions, motor speed, spin and drain. Allow the washer to run through the entire sequence and shut off. If anything is wrong an error code should be generated. Hopefully, all you had was a minor glitch. Let me know how things turn out. I hope this helps you.
remove bottom panel pump is slightly right of center in white housing the is a knob turn counter clockwise ckd for anything that may be blocking pump or has pump impeller locked be sure to ck as far as possible into pump throat if impeller is locked pump can be removed and taken apart just remove hoses and power plug take pump completely out and remove screws around edge reverse procedure when reinstalling just be sure large o ring is reinstalled properly
washer weary, You need to clean the filter on the pump. Remove the bottom panel and the filter will be right in front. 3 #11 torx screws it will pull down and off. Get yourself a bucket to catch the excess water. Unscrew the filter and clean it. Check to see that nothing is in the impeller. The F02 should go away..Catriver.
