Prius and LG Vu Bluetooth connection

Hi, My LG Vu phone was connected to my Prius using bluetooth. I deleted the pairing and when I try to search for the Prius device, the phone does not find anything. Also when I try to connect from Prius, the passkey option is not displayed in the my cell phone. My apple iphone connects perfectly without any problems. Also there are 6 phones which are being displayed in the Prius and there is no way, they can be deleted as some of them are old phones that I no longer use. Thanks Ashish

Yes what you need to do is not go into the phone menu but main settings menu of the head unit in there is a setting for bluetooth go into that and you can highlight and delete pairing do this for the lg vu as well and then it should free up and let you reinstall it normaly if that doesnt work get back to me and maybe we can set up a live phone chat and i can walk you while im sitting my prius so i can give you more specific instuction

I have a 2005 prius, My LG VueVX9100 was always working in the car, I had the phone replaced and now I can't connect to bluetooth anymore, I tried a dozen times, deleted all the phones, had the discovery screen, pairing screen, put the phone in, looked like it "connected" but it doesn't work in the car, even though all indications show its connected and working... It's not the phone because it connects to other blue tooth items and my daughter has the same phone, and hers doesn't connect either. The dealer wants $120.00 just to "Look" at it, any one out there that can help? .

LG Vu CU920 doesn't give me the option to send a song via bluetooth. Both cells have bluetooth and visibility turned on, and both cells are connected and paired.

Hello,

The phone may not have bluetooth capability for file transfering. You can try to go your song that you want to trasfer and click on more option to see if there is a tranfer button or icon for bluetooth. If it does not then the phone does not have the ability to do that. hope this helps.

How do I connect my motorola bluetooh headset S9 to my LG Vu920?

When using your S9 for the first time, follow these
steps to pair (connect) to your Phone:
Important: If you are pairing separate Bluetooth
devices for handsfree calls and streaming music, it is
recommended that you pair your S9 with your
handsfree device (phone) first.
1 Ensure the Bluetooth feature is enabled (turned
on) in your phone.

2 Turn on your S9 by pressing and holding (|) button
until the indicator light flashes three times in
blue.
After a few moments, the indicator light will be
steadily lit in blue to indicate your S9 is in pairing
mode.
3 From your device, perform a Bluetooth device
discovery/search. .
When pairing your S9, use
the following steps to perform a device discovery
from your phone:
After accessing the Settings Menu, go to bluetooth.
to add a new device, tap [New].
1. Tap [New] key to search the device that can be connected and which is
within range.
The phone lists Bluetooth devices it
finds.
b Select Motorola S9.
c Select OK or Yes to pair your S9 with
your phone.
d Enter the passkey: 0000
e Select OK.

When your S9 successfully pairs and connects to
your device, the indicator light displays blue with
10 quick purple flashes. If wearing your S9, you
will also hear an audio tone indicating successful
pairing and connection to your device.
4 To verify your S9 has successfully established a
handsfree calling connection with your phone,
dial a phone number you want to call and press
the Send key on your phone.
When successfully connected, you hear ringing
on your S9. A Bluetooth Handsfree Phone (HFP)
connection is now established with your phone

Bluetooth connects to LG Vu phone but does not work

I would suggest taking the battery out when the phone is powered on. Replace the battery and try to re-pair the set.

If that doesn't work, then its likely the bluetooth module in your phone is broken. You can validate this by pairing the bluetooth with another handset.

I have a LG Vu and I want to use the bluetooth setting to download photos into iPhoto. How can I do this? I have tried and tried to no avail, my imac book still shows no connection. Help me please!

What you do is find the bluetooth symbol at the top of your screen (the background) then go to SETTINGS and then to DEVICE VISIBILITY (should be the very top) hit the ON choick then OK for other bluetooth devices to recognise it. then go back to the MAIN BLUETOOTH MENU (just hit back button) and go to SEARCH NEW DEVICE (second one down) but make sure you are in the same room as your computer to have your phone connect with the computer. That should then find your computer and then REQUEST TO PAIR (just touch the name of your mac) and then ENTER THE CODE (should be four zeros if you didnt change it and do the same thing on your mac then after that just select the photo you want to send and hit SEND VIA BLUETOOTH and select your mac

I do not know how to use the bluetooth on LG Vu

Hi there, if you are connected through the bluetooth, then you have to see that is your ringtone reusable i man some ringtones you cannot share or send.
the easiest way is to go to the folder where your desired ringtone is (be sure you are connected) click on the properties and you will see the option 'send" and when you click it it will ask
text/mms/bluetooth
select bluetooth
it will search for the device (if you paired the device already then it will show)
select the designated device
and click ok

hope it will work for you

seems complicated but it is easy

LG VU does not recognize my blue tooth while trying to pair two

I have somewhat of a solution. when you go to www.att.com/BluetoothWizard, it will prompt you to put in the handset Make & Model and then proceed with the Make/Model of your Bluetooth. It is possible that your Bluetooth headset may not be compatible with the LG Vu.
