Most capacitors are designed to have an effective heat usage range before they start to change capacitance values. They will normally run in an environment of below 32F to 120F without any variation in the capacitence rating of the capacitor. Beyond these points the capacity may start changing.

My thermostat is set on 68 degrees and it shows room temperature is 68, but the furnace still kickson, Honeywell said it has a 1 degree difference. so what's the problem then?

Yes there is a one degree tolerance, in fact my heater just kicked on and it is set to 67 and the inside temperature reads 67. It is also a Honeywell.

Freezer not working properly, when engineer came out he said that it won't work in the shed because the product needs to be in a room of 16 degree C to function properly

that is strange--consider this
16 degrees c is 60.8 degrees f
45 degrees c is 113F
the technician states that it will only work in a room of 16 degrees yet many houses in dry heat conditions experience a room temperature of 45 degrees c yet still work effectively
it could possibly be that the difference is that in a room , the air can circulate freely but in a shed ( probably closed up then the air cannot circulate
leave a door open or windows or make it so that it is properly ventilated
move the unit away from the wall so that radiated heat from the wall will not affect the unit

It is hellishly hot outside these days, something close to 40. I bought a 6000 Haier at Best Buy and wanted it to lower room temperature to 25 Celsius. Vain hope: working non-stop day and night at high...

This window unit cant keep up in temps above 100 degrees farenheit its not going to happen. 28 degrees celcius is all your going to get in that heat Im in St. louis MO and its the same way
116 degrees farenheit heat index

The AC doesn´t work when outside temp goes 100 degrees and above

Try using a garden hose to wash down the condensor coil (the coil that is exposed to the outside air).
During the cooler times when it seems to be working, check the temperature difference of the air coming out against the temperature of the air coming in (room temperature air). The temperature should be approximately 16 to 22degF difference. If you are not getting at least 16degF air, you most likely need to have your unit serviced to see if professionial cleaning or a recharge is needed. If you are getting the temperature difference but not getting the amount of cooling you need during hot weather, it could be a capacity problem. You can perform a quick test by using the calculator on this site:

I hope you find this information helpful. Good Luck! :-)

Electric baseboard heater

this is a tough call but with 2000 watts in each room there should be more than enough heat .the rooms should maintain a average temp of 73 to 78 degrees temp without weatherazation and that is of course there is no drafts coming from any windows or near a front or back door that opens and closes alot . Basiclly you have it covered but definatley get the house winterize/insulated real good.I would keep 1 or 2 space heaters on hand just incase the person in house feels there cold just to cover yourself ,usually it the female complaining its cold if its not warm enough but there have been some males that need that temp to be 80 degrees all the time.good luck but im sure it will be ok!!

How long will my AC work for, if placed inside the room

I assume that we are talking about a "window" unit. No, you cannot just place it in the room. The machine is actually two parts; one part delivers the cool air to you, the other part ejects the heat out of your house. If you just had the whole unit inside, the room wuold actually get warmer, not cooler. The reason for this is that the compressor and motor generate heat also. The "heat of compression" generated has to be ejected from the room in order for the air conditioner to work. Put it in the window.
