How do I fix Dell Latitude E5430 audio? Look in the details section for more info.

When this happens, go to device manager in the control panel and look for the audio section under sound video and game controllers. Then delete them and reboot the computer, if it is a driver issue the drivers will reinstall, if it is a hardware issue, they wont and you will know that the sound card chip is bad.

Hi, the headphone jack is not working at all! I have a Latitude D610. I've had the laptop from my company. Do you know how to address this problem? thank you very much

Does the main speakers work on the laptop? as you know when the headphones are plugged in, the internal speakers turn off. If the laptop speakers are fine then you have a problem with the ear phone jack, it needs to be replaced, or part of the original has broken free of the motherboard and needs to be resold-ed. If on the other hand you have no sound at all, the ear phone jack has comletely broken free or the audio ic is the problem. Regardless of the issues the laptop needs to be dis-assembled to address the problem.

Microphone of Dell latitude D610 not working

The D610 has two audio jacks. The one closest to the monitor has a picture of a microphone above it, and the one closest to the user has a picture of headphones above it. Do you have your microphone plugged into the correct jack?

Speakers installed but not working on laptop

Many times what happens is during Microsoft updates this audio card PC driver gets lost.
You may need to go to Dell's Web site to locate your specific Model's audio card driver and then reload it.
Worth a try!

Dell latitude D620, no speaker sound

you will have to uninstall your audio device, and uninstall SKYPE and re install the audio device and don't re install SKYPE, you can do this by going to add or remove programs, and remove SKYPE first and unplug u r headset and mic, and after removing skype you can reboot the computer, and sometimes the conflict is resolved, otherwise then go into your device manager in system manager and find audio devices, unistall the driver or Update the driver, and reinstall it and the reboot, that should take care of the problem.
