Need to set nat to wide open but don't see a way to change it from restricted nat

For that first connect your router to computer with ethernet cable.
Then access it with following link.
http://192.168.1.1
or
http://192.168.0.1
type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
Then you can see configuration page of router click on advanced and then NAT.
Change restriction to site as you want.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks.

How do u change your nat settings to open

you can't just say nat is now OPEN :)
let's say you have a pc with IP of 192.168.1.33
you are running a emule (hehe) on that PC
you want to use port 12345 for your emule
this is what you need to do:
1. go to webinterface of your router (usually http://192.168.1.1)
2. go to menu network/nat/port forwarding
3.go to service->user define
4. in new window click "active", name it emule, start port 12345, end port 12345, server ip 192.168.1.33
5. click ok, apply, whatever and go to menu security/firewall/rules
6. choose packet direction wan to wan/router
7. click on ADD
8. change following fields: destination address - change to single address and change 0.0.0.0 to 192.168.1.33 and click on add, then close to it says ANY, mark it and click on remove
9. on same page under services click on edit customized services
10. choose number 1 or 5 or whatever :)
11. service name: emule rule, service type TCP/UDP, type single, port 12345
12. click on apply
13. go to menu maintenance/tools/restart
14. just in case restart the box and your zyxel is now accepting incoming connections on port 12345 and forwarding them to 192.168.1.33 (your pc) ...

i hope i helped

cheers

I cannot open ports TCP/UDP for eMule using router 2Wire Infinitu

You need to portforward your router to accept emules port number/numbers. Go to portforward.com. look up your router and follow the instructions. It's pretty easy.

Router

What is the model number of your router? If you are using a Linksys router, you'll just need to open the port for emule. Here's some helpful link.

Low ID on emule when am using Belkin F5D7230-4 router

You need to find out what port Emule uses for sharing, then enter the port number in you routers Firewall Virtual Servers menu in the settings and enable your pc's ip address to accept inbound connections.

Low ID on eMule

One more thing re low id on emule - try to choose ports between 10000 and 60000 - many isps block the standard ports that emule users choose, and you will see people saying to choose one over 5000, but I'd chosen ports between 5000 and 10000, and still had no luck until I went over10000.
Most isps don't monitor ports over 10000, so if you still have low id problems even after port forwarding and setting up your firewall, this may be the answer to your problem! (I got this info off portforward.com, and it worked for me)

Configure for emule

You must open ports on your router to allow incoming traffic while using eMule. eMule uses three ports*: 4662 (TCP) 4672 (UDP) 4711 (TCP) Visit eMule here. * To prevent getting a low ID (Firewalled), open additional TCP ports between 4661 and 4665. Also, limit the number of connections in the eMule software. You may need to change the TCP Clientport to something other than 4662.
