sounds like the paper feed rollers are worn or dirty try cleaning the rollers if the problem persists then unfortunately you will have to replace the rollers
Check for paper jam in or by fuser unit. Remove paper. On the keypad press P * C * and SIM 14 to reset copier. If you get 5 jams at the fuser unit in a row it gives this code. If it keeps jaming double check for paper, my have a faulty sensor.
Exactly where in the machine does the paper jam??If it jams when you hit the print button, try cleaning the paper feed tires with WD40.spray it on a clean cloth, clean the feed and pickup tires thoroughly and make sure to get ALL of the WD40 off the tires before using the machine. If you take the paper cassette out and look with a flashight you should be able to identify the paper feed tires.
Have you tried the manual feed tray? Which way is the letter size paper being feed in? LTR or LTR-R. You may have a reg. clutch that is slipping. I would also look to see if you have any paper jamed behind the paper tray and make sure the paper trat is displaying that ltter paper is in the papre tray the same way as displayed. Good Luck
sounds like a broken fuser drive gear. The fuser operates a nearly 400 degrees Fahrenheit and the drive gear cracks and falls off.Lots of trouble for a 50 cent gear. They are mad of fiber or plastic.take a few of the covers off near the fuser and disconnect the cables and the fuser slides out
A4 is referring to a europpen size paper. You may have some paper jamed behind the paper tray. You will have to take the paper trays out and look in side for some paper jamed in the rear part of the copier, remove and you should be set..
I would have to say that you are missing the fuser drive. I would remove the fusing unit and look to see if you are missing any gears or any missing teeth from a gear or just missing a gear...
1st, you need to find out exactly where the paper is getting stuck.
Is the paper stopping just as it gets to the rollers, or
stops when it goes through the rollers and are getting stuck on the little fuser claws?
If the paper is stopping right when it gets to the rollers, then there is a problem with the fuser drive or drive gears.
This you would probably need to place a service call to have repaired. If the paper is getting stuck in the claws, then make sure that the claws are not stuck down. All claws should be up against the rollers, both upper and lower claws.
Sometimes they get stuck down or the spring gets knocked off.
Other than that, as long as both upper and lower fuser rollers are in good condition, paper should pass through.

Good luck.
