I can still access the internet through safari but Internet Explorer v.8 says it cannot connect to the internet, when I click 'diagnose the problem' It identifies no problems

I am currently using IE7 in Safe Mode because I cannot use IE8 in the regular mode. Everytime I open the application, I get the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error. It will not let me view any website through IE8.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I am having problems with webpage

Hi,
While as the Microsoft Internet Explorer 8's good browser,it may lack some features useful while on the web.
Try changing the browser by installing a new one,say for example,Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome and access the same web page and see what happens.

Since updating to IE8 web pictures don't always show and I get this error message: Webpage error detailsUser Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; GTB6.6;...

> webpage error

Whoever wrote the web-page that you are trying to fetch
has INCORRECTLY created the web-page.

> MSIE 8.0, Windows NT 5.1 ..

Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, running on Windows XP (Windows NT was '4.0', and Windows 2000 was '5.0', and Microsoft just "tweaked" Windows 2000 to produce Windows XP, so you get '5.1', instead of '6.0').

What's the URL of the webpage that does not work?

There is something wrong with the specific webpage that you tried to load.
What is the URL of that web-site?

You are using Internet Explorer 7 under Windows XP.
Please upgrade to Internet Explorer 8, to see if that fixes the problem.

Cannot access a site although have put in browser, to acitvate it, have been having error page 403, gone into browser but still will not allow access to stite requested.

HTTP Error 403 is an error message which means that you are not authorized to view the web page which you are attempting to load. Usually, the HTTP error 403 - Forbidden means that access to the file/folder you are trying to open has been denied, either on intention or owing to a configuration anomaly. You could attempt using a proxy website if the access is blocked intentionally.

Internet explorer can,t open my web page

First, check if you're able to open the webpages in other web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Opera, etc.
If web pages are opening normally in other browsers then restore the Internet Explorer to default settings.

Restoring Internet Explorer7/8 to its default:

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. On the Advanced tab, click Reset.
4. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset to confirm.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Internet Explorer cannot display the web page

Have you installed any software firewalls lately, I know Norton has a habit of randomly blocking the internet.

Try disabling any firewall you may have and try again, if the internet surfing problem persists, try plugging in a wired connection and seeing if you can surf from there.
