Question about Samsung SGH-D600 Cellular Phone
Someone has given me a Samsung D600, I put in my Optus Australia SIM, and it does send text messages, however everytime I send a text message it sends the message, but also sends me another text saying configuration message 6357 and then won't let me open it saying "configuration error". I contacted optus and they say it is a handset problem as texts are arriving and being sent.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I have the same problem. You have to use the area code, the full 10 digit number. Even the phone numbers stored in your memory need to include the area code for the text to send.
