Problem for Xerox WorkCentre M15i Laser Printer

Driver for lexmark x1185 using mac os 10.5

I'm giving my son a lexmark x1185 that I used with XP. He has a MAC with os 10.5. Lexmark site only gives drivers up to mac os 10.3.

Can I get a driver? DOes one exist?

- Thanks for trying. When we ran software update, Lexmark Printer Driver 1.1 dod not appear.

He can simply plug it in to the computer (the Mac) and if it does not work immediately, then run software update. Software update should be ran WITH the printer plugged into the computer. It will then show an update called "Lexmark Printer Driver 1.1" and is about 71MB in size. After installing this update, the printer should work fine.

- And this was done with the printer ON & plugged into the Mac? This is also the case for some HP printers. I had to do this on my Mac, as well. Did anything else appear in Software Update?
Also, you can always try to manually do the Lexmark Update.
