Van is turning over but acting like it's nt getting fuel

My van sat on empty for over 2 months and recently got it fixed and running. The other day it acted like it was out of gas so I filled the tank and it ran fine all day. I parked it for 2 days and now it won't start again. It still has almost 7/8 of a tank of gas.

99 Astro Van random misfires P300

Before you replace the injectors have them do an injector balance test. Normally wet weather does not effect fuel system. Sounds more like you have a crank or cam sensor acting up.

I HAVE A 1986 GMC VANDURA 3500 CARGO VAN,ALWAYS TURNS ON WITH NO PROBLEM,OK HERES THE THING.MY GAS METER WENT OUT RECENTLY SO I DROVE IT AROUND ALL WEEK BASICLY JUST TRYING TO EMPTY THE TANK SO I CAN FILL...

If the fuel level is very low and the van is not level it's not going to start even if the pump is good.
When you turn the key to on you should hear a fuel pump noise for 2 to 3 seconds if the key has been off for at least 10 seconds, and when cranking or the engine is running the pump runs because there's oil pressure sending power to the pump.
Have someone listen back at the tank.No Noise?then it might be time for a fuel pump.
Your fuel filter may be just ahead of the rear axle on the passenger side under the van.
But.....if your gas gauge went out and now your pump quit, maybe the wiring back at the tank is corroded?

My Plymouth Voyager (1999) stop on me, and When I

Sounds like one or more of your fuel injectors is stuck open and dumping raw gas into the exhaust system. I would replace all the injectors since there was sugar run through it.

Ram van dies

sounds to me like the fuel pump is bad, when it warms up it dies, try to check this by filling the tank and running a while, then run the van with a near empty tank and see how it does. A full tank of gas should keep the fuel pump cool as it is surrounded by the liquid. I had a similar problem. when my tank got to about a quarter full (3/4 empty) the van would shut off after a short distance, then after sitting for a while would start up again get me a little farther then shut off again. i ended up changiung the fuel pump cost me almost $300. if this simple test shows no results the you got electrical problems, check distributor, and surrounding cables. good luck. also check your fuses could be dirty!
