Are you running Safari Version 3.2.1 (4525.27.1)?? You should be, and if not, upgrade by calling for Software Upgrade under the apple icon.

Under System preferences, if you are running Version 3.2.1 (4525.27.1) please do everything you did and then click on "Show Cookies" which you will see 3/4 down the Security Tab page and a box will open up showing all cookies currently deposited on your system and where you can either choose a single cookie to delete and then click the "remove" button or "remove all" button and remove them all. Press the "Done" button when you are finished.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hello,

Try opening facebook in a different browser (eg. Internet Explorer or Chrome).

or do this one:

Delete the cookies by going to Safari > Preferences > Privacy Tab > Details

In the search field in the top right corner of that window, type in facebook. Click REMOVE ALL > Done

Now, go to the safari menu bar. Click safari > empty cache

Go back to the menu bar again. Click safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 boxes. Click Reset.

Restart your MAC and check when on.

I have always had a windows PC now i have an Apple PC, it's running out of space, How do i get rid of cookies and temp files for example ?

Use OmniDisk sweeper (free, essentially a disk pie-charter without the pie charts) and Spotlight to hunt-down the occasional space-wasting redundant file. A basic knowledge of the structure of the Mac OS file system comes is handy.

In Safari for Mac OS X, to view your cookies or change your cookie settings, from the Safari menu, select Preferences... then click the Security tab. To view your cookies, click Show Cookies. In the sheet that drops down, you can browse the list of cookies on your computer. To remove one or more cookies, highlight the cookie(s) and click Remove. To remove all cookies, click Remove All. When you are finished, click Done to return to the preferences window.

How do I unblock cookies on my Mac? It won't let me sign off hotmail because it says I cookies are blocked.

The instructions are specific to the browser and OS you are using. Since you didn't specify, I will provide instructions for the Apple standard Safari browser on Snow Leopard (10.6). If you are using some other browser, such as FireFox, the instructions will be vaguely similar but not identical.
Under the Safari menu, open Preferences, then go to the Security tab. You will see a selection for "Accept cookies: Always, Never, Only from sites I visit." If "Only from sites I visit" (the preferred choice) doesn't make Hotmail happy, you will have to set it to "Always." Remember, you can always set it back later, and if certain websites still demand that you allow third-party advertising cookies, you may want to reassess whether you want to continue your relationship with those websites.
